About the Role

The Adobe CQ/AEM Support Engineer will be part of a senior operations team that has strong experience delivering world-class production platforms. You will play a key client-facing role on Adobe projects, working alongside User Experience, Design and Engineering teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Administer websites and content management using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Administer and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR)
• Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, formatting, image scaling, internationalization, and personalization
• Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment
• Translate business requirements into AEM specific implementation specifications
• Administer and improve internal development methodologies
• Own and manage several AEM clustered environments
• Work with other software Engineers to investigate problems and make changes to the AEM environment and associated applications
• Develop monitoring and performance metrics for AEM platform
• Automate deployment and management of AEM services
• Investigate emerging technologies relevant to Salesforce
• Contribute to the evolving architecture of our services to meet changing requirements for scaling, reliability, performance, manageability, and price
• Document designs and procedures for building and managing AEM clusters
• Participate in on-call production support rotation
• Follow’s Information Technology processes and procedures

Must Have:

Desired Skills and Experience

• 3+ years relevant professional experience
• Experience working with Adobe CQ (AEM)
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and attendant technologies
• Experience working with REST, Sling and SOAP in a production environment
• Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Ability to work flexibly and appropriate trade-offs to meet time constraints
• Experience collaborating with customers, project managers, and engineers
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment; experience with Agile a strong plus
• Install and configure hotfixes and 3rd party softwares onto the existing AEM platform
• Install, configure and maintain monitoring tools such as New Relic, Sumo Logic, Zabbix etc
• Manage chef environments. Ability in making changes to chef and ruby scripts as needed
• Monitor the chef environment for the health of the system
• Proactively monitor the repository growth and automate the compaction and re-indexing techniques
• Ability in using Jenkins as a tool to create projects/jobs to enable Ops team to migrate code to multiple environments at the same time. very good understanding of how manifest and artifacts are created and promoted
• Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant experience
